A system does not fail on the big profiles, it fails on the connecting piece that is missing. The additional profiles, joining elements and accessories are what tie individual walls, shelves and doors into one layout, one that stands straight and goes together without improvisation. This category holds profiles for fabrics and textiles, additional profiles, accessories, tools, a shop-fitting system and a magnetic fixing system. The tension-fabric profiles are extruded aluminium with a silicone keder (M 1313.50, 14 x 3 mm) for graphics held without visible edges; the standard lengths measure 6000 mm, and the system groove 4.3 mm at a depth of 7 mm, the same dimension across the whole Octanorm system. The additional profiles cover edges, glass and sliding doors (from the A 200.01 protective profile to the E 421 and E 440 panel holders). The shop-fitting system with its round groove accepts connectors at any angle and any point, and has been on the market since 1965. The tools, from the PS-0 pneumatic press to drills and drilling jigs, make sure the joints are clean. The MF magnetic system holds shelves and panels without drilling, up to 5 kg per bracket. Two considerations guide the choice. Which base system you are extending, so the groove and dimensions match, and whether you are fixing permanently or without a trace.
