The profile is the basic building block of every modular stand. The maxima extrusion system can be clad with panel, fabric or glass, or left deliberately exposed. The same joint logic runs across the whole line, so the parts stay compatible and you assemble them again and again, with no welding and no waste.

what extruded profiles are

An extruded profile is an aluminium member with longitudinal grooves into which panels, frames and accessories click. On maxima the joint uses a patented tension lock: two profiles connect with no visible screws, the bond is firm and just as quick to release. The construction is relatively light yet load-bearing, and after the event it breaks down into flat parts.

maxima is not a single profile but a family of three depths that cover the range from a small display panel to an exhibition stand up to six metres high. A classic look, durable construction and one consistent joint mean you combine parts and grow the system step by step, instead of building a new custom structure for every show.

Because the grooves are standardised, the same profile takes shelves, screens, lighting and graphics. The profile is therefore not just a wall but the carrier of the whole stand: walls go on it, graphics go on the walls, lighting sits alongside. All of it with no single-use tooling and no parts to discard after the fair.

the maxima 40, 80 and 120 depths

The number in the profile name is the extrusion depth in millimetres, and that sets the load capacity and purpose. maxima 40 is the lightweight of the line: slim, flexible and easy to transport, suited to smaller stands, display panels and retail areas. maxima 80 is the balanced choice between stability and elegance, for medium-sized layouts, retail surfaces and prominent brand showcases.

maxima 120 is the heavyweight for large spans and heights up to six metres. Use it where the structure carries the most: large stands, tall free-standing elements and layouts that demand maximum load capacity. For special cases there is a custom format, maxima in additional dimensions for extraordinary designs and architectural concepts.

In practice you do not pick a single depth, you combine them. Lighter partition walls use the 40 profile, the load-bearing frame and taller elements the 80 or 120. Because the joint logic is the same on all of them, the depths are mutually compatible and used in one stand, which means a single system stock instead of separate systems for small and large shows.

  • maxima 40: slim and light, for smaller stands, panels and retail.
  • maxima 80: the balanced choice between stability and elegance for medium layouts.
  • maxima 120: load-bearing profile for large spans and heights up to 6 metres.
  • maxima custom: additional dimensions for extraordinary designs and architectural concepts.

cladding: panel, fabric or glass

The same profile clads a stand in several ways, and the look only emerges with the cladding choice. A printed panel clips into the groove and gives a smooth, solid face with the logo and message. Stretched fabric pulls over the frame and is simply swapped when the campaign changes, with no work on the structure. Glass adds transparency and elegance, suited to vitrines and feature walls.

The profile can also be left deliberately exposed. The visible aluminium structure is a design element in its own right that works for an industrial or technical look. The profile surface is coated in any RAL colour, so the system aligns with the brand identity and is not tied to a single shade of aluminium.

Because all claddings are part of the same line and clip into the same groove, you combine them on one stand. Close the lower wall with a panel for shelves and screens, cover the upper part with backlit fabric for graphics, and leave a glass vitrine between them. The look follows the content of the show without changing the load-bearing structure.

  • Panel: a smooth solid face with the logo, clipped into the profile groove.
  • Fabric: stretched cloth for a quick graphics swap with no work on the structure.
  • Glass: transparent vitrines and feature walls.
  • Exposed profile: visible aluminium as a design element, coated in any RAL colour.

freedom in the design

Because the profiles assemble from standard parts, the shape is not limited to predefined modules. The same profiles go into a straight wall, a corner, a free-standing island or a tall element above the crowd. The span up to six metres and the load-bearing 120 profile allow walls and arches that lighter systems cannot manage, so one line covers a small row stand and a large island layout.

Freedom in the design does not mean building every layout from scratch. The standard joint is always the same, so you assemble the same structure differently next time: change the cladding, move the walls, add height. The stand is not tied to one floor plan but adapts to each event and each hall.

sustainability and reuse

The extrusion system is sustainable by design, not just by marketing claim. Profiles connect and release without welding or gluing, so they survive many cycles of assembly and disassembly. After the fair you take them apart, store them and assemble them in a different layout next time, instead of scrapping the structure and building a new one.

In cost terms this means the investment in profiles is not tied to a single show. Aluminium is a strong, durable material that is also recycled once worn. Reuse lowers the cost per event and reduces waste, which is impossible with a custom-built stand that is usually discarded after the event.

Sustainability aligns with adaptability: because parts are compatible across the whole line, the system need not be replaced when needs change, only extended. Complete the same profiles with lighting, a double deck or light frames and the stand grows with you, with no separate, incompatible purchases.

how to proceed

The fastest route to a proposal is to share the approximate stand size, the layout type and the height you want to reach. From that we suggest the right maxima profile depth and cladding method to match your graphics and budget. You can also see the systems live in the showroom, where the profiles are assembled and clad.

Profiles are the foundation you complete with other parts of the same line: lighting for true colours, light frames for graphics and a double deck for extra space. Because they are all part of one system, you add them step by step and build the stand in stages, not from scratch for every fair.

frequently asked questions

The number is the extrusion depth of the profile in millimetres, which sets the load capacity. maxima 40 is slim and light, for smaller walls and panels. maxima 80 is balanced, for medium layouts. maxima 120 is load-bearing, for large spans and heights up to six metres. The joint logic is the same on all, so the depths are mutually compatible in one stand.

Clad the profile with a printed panel for a smooth solid face, with stretched fabric for a quick graphics swap, or with glass for vitrines. It can also be left deliberately exposed as visible aluminium. The surface is coated in any RAL colour, so the system aligns with the brand identity.

Yes. The joint uses a patented tension lock with no welding or gluing, so after the fair you take the profiles apart, store them and assemble them in a different layout next time. Reuse lowers the cost per event and cuts waste, and the aluminium is recyclable once worn.

With the load-bearing maxima 120 profile you build stands and elements up to six metres high. For lower walls and partitions the 40 profile is enough, while the 80 profile covers medium layouts. Because the depths are compatible, you combine them in a tall stand.
